Privacy policy
Last updated 1 September 2026
OnCircuit is a hospitality operations platform. The OnCircuit app is used by the staff and management of the food businesses that run on it. This policy explains what the app collects and why.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, work email address and staff role, created for you by your employer so you can sign in.
- Operational content: the things you do in the app for work: chat messages, stock counts, prep and task activity, and similar records. This is your workplace's operational data and is visible to your workplace under its own policies.
- Location, during shifts only: if your workplace uses shift tracking, the app monitors whether you are inside the work site's boundary between clock-on and clock-off so timesheets end correctly when you leave. Location is not collected outside an active shift.
Face ID / Touch ID
Unlocking the app with Face ID or Touch ID happens entirely on your device through Apple's LocalAuthentication system. Your biometric data never reaches OnCircuit and is never stored, transmitted or visible to us in any form.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not show ads and do not use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Where data lives
Data is stored on infrastructure in Australia (AWS Sydney and Supabase Sydney) and processed by an AI provider (Anthropic) only for specific features such as reading supplier invoices, never for advertising or profiling.
Retention and access
Operational records are retained as business records of the workplace that owns them. To access, correct or delete personal information, contact your workplace's manager or us directly.
